Two Evangelists from Across the Ocean Meet in Silicon Valley
- DragonVenture hosts Delegation from China

Palo Alto, Calif. August 12, 2002- DragonVenture recently hosted a delegation from Dalian, China on a visit to several local technology companies here in Silicon Valley. Included in the tour was ImpactXoft, a young company that has received multiple awards for their technology. Upon meeting Silicon Valley native Steven Hayes Young, VP & Chief Evangelist at ImpactXoft, Luan Qing Wei, Director of the Dalian Bureau of the Information Industry, quickly aligned himself with Young. Each are two evangelist from across the ocean on a mission to share the visions of building awareness and promoting better relationships across the globe.

Wei and his delegation were here to meet with select technology companies to exchange ideas and introduce them to the latest developments in Dalian as well as spread the word that Dalian is the land of beauty and abundance. "This was a perfect opportunity to exchange visions " said Young. "ImpactXoft has always envisioned a global society working closely together. We localized our product in two Chinese languages coming out the gate."

The delegation plans to return to Silicon Valley before the end of this year to further promote bilateral business activities between Dalian and Silicon Valley. Dalian is an important harbor city in Northern China. It has been named as the nation's pilot city of "informatization" and model city of e-commerce by the Chinese Ministry of Information Industry. Dalian Software Park is one of the ten largest national software bases in China.
